1. Copyright Policy
verses.lol respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Users may not upload, publish, or exchange audio, beats, cover art, or any content on the verses.lol marketplace if they do not hold the necessary licenses, rights, or ownership to that content. Stolen beats, unauthorized samples, and plagiarized lyrics are explicitly prohibited.
2. DMCA Takedown Notice Procedure
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via the verses.lol platform, please notify our Designated Copyright Agent, as set forth in the DMCA. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:
- An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the verses.lol platform (please provide specific URLs to the listings or files).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and, e-mail address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
3. Submitting a DMCA Notice

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, verses.lol will expeditiously remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user who posted it.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notice. To be effective, a Counter-Notice must be a written communication provided to our Copyright Agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district.
